Todd McLellan gave an update on the team Saturday morning, and delivered troubling news for the Red Wings' playoff push, as goalie, he's received no update on Petr Mrazek's status.

The Detroit Red Wings will have to figure out how to stay frosty in a conference that is all but settled.
At a Saturday morning press conference, Todd McLellan would share an update on Petr Mrazek. The goalie was injured during the Red Wings' game against the Utah Hockey Club.
McLellan was unable to offer an update on Mrazek's status, and considering how tight the playoff race is in the East, this isn't great news.
Mrazek would hit the ground running in Detroit after arriving in familiar territory, posting a 2.49 GAA and a .902 save percentage.
Better production and goaltending than the team had seen lately with Alex Lyon and Cam Talbot.

The Injury

He'd be hit consecutively, with a knee/leg by forward Dylan Guenther, and was hit in his head by forward Barrett Hayton's knee.
While we can't ascribe ill-will to the actions of these forwards, Mrazek was a victim of circumstances as the two players came from different directions and would meet at Mrazek's crease.
The Red Wings are 33-33-6, and 6th in the Atlantic Division. If they can put together a solid game against the Boston Bruins, who, under Head Coach Joe Sacco, have been struggling, they can earn an easy 2 points in regulation.
Every game at this point in the season counts, and every victory matters.
