A photo of Detroit Red Wings captain Dylan Larkin alongside several rivals on ice garnered attention on social media.
But this wasn't your typical summer training pic. This one had heart.
In the now-viral picture, Larkin is seen skating with his newborn daughter Lennyn-sharing the moment not just with family, but with a few of Michigan's brightest hockey stars:
Cole Caufield of the Montreal Canadiens,
Quinn Hughes of the Vancouver Canucks, and
Josh Norris of the Buffalo Sabres.
If you missed it, check out the picture here:
"Congratulations to Dylan & Kenzy on the birth of their beautiful baby girl!
Lennyn Marie Larkin, born May 19th. ❤️"
The response? Pure emotion and plenty of wishful thinking. Fans immediately went to the comment sections to share their dreams of seeing them all together with the Red Wings:

To be fair, it's hard not to let the imagination wander. Larkin at center, Caufield on the wing, Hughes quarterbacking the power play, with Norris down the middle.
But beyond the fantasy roster building, the moment spoke to something deeper. It was about friendship, family, and the deep bond shared by Michigan native players who've climbed the NHL ladder together.
In a summer filled with trade rumors and contract talk, sometimes one picture can remind us what really connects the hockey world: roots, family, and friends.
Last season, Larkin, 28, scored 70 points, including 30 goals, with the Red Wings. Caufield, 24, also tallied 70 points, but had 37 goals in Montreal. Hughes had 76, with 16 goals, and Norris had 35 points, including 21 goals, in 56 games with the Senators and the Sabres.
