The Detroit Red Wings suffered horrible loss to the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday night, and now fans are leaving Todd McLellan with the ultimate decision to demote a defenseman.

Cam Talbot stood on his head, stopping 36 of 38 shots on goal against the St. Louis Blues who were riding a 9-game winning streak, but the goaltenders efforts were not enough.
Collapsing was the problem for the Red Wings, and defensive breakdowns in the third period costed them their 1-0 lead and two points.
Defenseman Mortiz Seider would make an interesting decision to make a pinch in the offensive zone, which would ultimately cost the Red Wings a win.
Fans are now calling on Todd McLellan to make a demotion towards the former 6th overall pick, to send a clear message that accountability will be given if mistakes are made.
Seider slipping up has been a consistent thing as of late, and could have ultimately ended their hopes at playoff contention.
Moritz Seider has been awful for two months now,

Don't kid yourself. Somebody want to wake up Larkin? Not even a SOG. Thanks cap.

Another fan wants him gone, and is calling for the Red Wings to trade him and use his high salary on another asset, specifically a goal scoring forward.
Yes. Get rid of Seider. Use his $9 mill salary and get a goal scorer. We don't need bad D, we need goal scorers.
