A recent report has revealed Detroit fans can expect another Red Wing forward to make an appearance at this year's 2025 IIHF World Championship to represent Team Sweden.
A new announcement has revealed the Detroit Red Wings' forward, Lucas Raymond will be joining him teammate Simon Edvinsson to represent Sweden for the World Championship.

The 2025 IIHF World Championship will be co-hosted by Stockholm, Sweden, and Herning, Denmark and will begin on Friday, May 9, and finish on Sunday May, 25.
Lucas Raymond's season this year was phenomenal, he was the scoring leader within the Detroit Red Wings with 27 goals, 53 assists, totalling at 80 points within just 82 games, and to finish off this wonderful year, he will be buckling up to play for the World Cup on home soil.
Raymond expresses his excitement for the upcoming tournament:
"It will be a hugely fun tournament. Getting to put on the Tre Kronor shirt is always special. I hope to see you there when we go for gold," says Lucas Raymond on Tre Kronor's social media.
As of now, the National Team captain, Sam Hallam, has now received 15 confirmations from NHL players who will play in the World Cup for Tre Kronor.
