The Detroit Red Wings have been linked to trading their underachieving 30-year old defenseman, and we have the details.

The Detroit Red Wings organization is in dire need to pursue a strong offseason, filled with acquisitions and departing with players who are holding the team down.
The organization's general manager, Steve Yzerman, and the front office could use this postseason as an opportunity to reset their roster and clean up some mistakes.
One of those mistakes being Yzerman's own, a signing of a veteran defenseman and former Toronto Maple Leaf, Justin Holl.
Justin Holl's name has been looming through the rumor mill as of late, due to the fact there has been speculations this defenseman's only way out of Detroit would be if the Red Wings bought him out.
However, Yzerman now has a bit of a mess on his hands, as many were surprised to hear he didn't use the buyout window to rid himself of Holl.

Now the Detroit Red Wings' attention is reportedly set to turn to the trade market in order to depart with their defenseman, Justin Holl

33-year old, Justin Holl, is entering his final season of his $3.4M average annual salary (AAV) contract, where he owns a 10-team no-trade clause.
That being said, this right-handed defenseman has some say in the matter or where he lands, however once a GM expresses you're unwanted, things tend to change very quickly.
That being said, here are three teams to keep an eye on this offseason:
San Jose Sharks
The Sharks are nearing the salary floor, and could easily use Holl's $3.4M to get there.
Anaheim Ducks
Such as the Sharks, the Ducks have an immense amount of cap space, and are intending to try and make postseason contention next season.
Pittsburgh Penguins
At the moment, the Penguins aren't making many moves, and this organization could use Holl on their back end.
Although it is uncertain what Yzerman intends to do with Justin Holl this offseason, Red Wings fans are desperate to see the departure of this defenseman.
