Life changing news strikes a member of the Detroit Red Wings

Michael Rasmussen experienced a life-changing event this post-season, as he was married to his fiancée Sierra, and as you can see, joining the newly married couple is defenseman Moritz Seider to celebrate the festivities.
Summertime is either a year of great struggle for NHL players, who remain in the playoff hunt, or leisure and enjoyment for those who get to enjoy the break.
For center Michael Rasmussen, he got to experience the greatest joy of his life, as he tied the knot with Sierra, on 7-12-2025, where they both said "I do".
A lifelong vow that comes with commitment, and for Sierra, she knows all about that being a wife, aka WAG of a hockey player like Rasmussen.
A gritty 3rd-line forward who can score dirty goals and play where the team needs him the most.
Now, the happy couple is already celebrating their nuptials, undoubtedly after what was an epic wedding ceremony.
After a diligent search online, there has been scant information about the ceremony, other than the photo posted on "X" by the account "SufferingSergei".
Typically, we find these posts on players' personal Instagram accounts or their girlfriends' accounts.
However, Rasmussen has opted to keep the event low-key, other than the prolific Detroit Red Wings defenseman Moritz Seider making an appearance in the photo above.
All we can say is congratulations to the happy couple of Michael and Sierra Rasmussen, who have done the unthinkable for a lot of hockey players, and kept their wedding 99% private.
Ramussen scored 21 points (11-10) in 77 games, and has secured his life partner in Sierra.
