Life-changing news strikes Detroit Red Wings forward JT Compher

We have a wedding to announce, as Detroit Red Wings JT Compher said "I do" to his new life partner, Sydney Badger, this weekend, and Jeff Petry's wife, Julie, gave us a private eye into the ceremony.
JT Compher married his soulmate, Sydney Bagder, this weekend. While we didn't get a chance to see it in action, Jeff Petry's wife, Julie, gave us an insight into the ceremony on Instagram.
The happy couple invited teammates of the Red Wings and Compher's former Avs teammates to the ceremony.
Julie Petry captioned the photos with this:
«Couple of honorary members of this sacred Colorado crew for the weekend... what a fun group!» she wrote in the caption.
Julie wore a hot-pink dress with spaghetti straps, while Jeff Petry went all out with a light-colored suit for Compher's nuptials.
Former Avs defenseman, and now Buffalo Sabre, Bowen Byram was part of the star-studded event as his girlfriend Kailey Rankin would document the event on Instagram as well.
Julie's final post on the event featured JT and Sydney in an embrace as newlyweds, in his tuxedo as the couple were all smiles:

Can the married energy he has this season be responsible for a rebound in 2025-26? We can hope, right?
Compher invited some of his former Avalanche teammates whom he won a Stanley Cup in 2022, including Bowen Byram, plus Florida Panthers defenseman Jeff Petry.
The offseason is hockey wedding season, where players get a chance to relax and take in life when they're not on the road hustling for the next point or win.
Compher has had a pretty successful offseason by our measure.
