An official announcement from the Detroit Red Wings organization confirmed several changes ahead of the 2025-26 NHL season.

After nine years of failing to reach the playoffs, players will be under a lot of pressure to win, avoiding extending the streak to a full decade.
With the regular season set to start in six weeks, the team announced massive schedule changes for a few crucial games.
