The Vegas Golden Knights have made it official, signing goaltender Carter Hart to a tryout contract on Thursday.

As we reported earlier today, the Golden Knights have put pen to paper on a Carter Hart signing amid injury troubles with goaltender Adin Hill.
Now official, Hart will be joining the Golden Knights and is expected to start working with the Henderson Silver Knights, their AHL affiliate, immediately.
Hart, 27, became eligible to sign in the NHL on October 15th.
The former Philadelphia Flyers goaltender is unable to play a game in the league until December 1st.

Golden Knights unveil process behind signing goaltender Carter Hart

«Vegas Born are aligned with the process and assessment the NHL and NHLPA made in their decision. We remain committed to the core values that have defined our organization from its inception and expect that our players will continue to meet these standards moving forward."

Hart's history as an NHL goaltender has been very promising, despite being on a dwelling Philadelphia Flyers team.
"Hart won his NHL debut Dec. 18, 2018 against the Detroit Red Wings, then defeated the Nashville Predators two nights later. He became the first goalie in Flyers history to win four straight starts before turning 21.

The unknown was how he would handle the jump to the NHL at age 20.

He finished his first season with a 16-13-1 record, a 2.83 goals-against average and .917 save percentage in 31 games (30 starts) and placed ninth in voting for the Calder Trophy, awarded to the NHL's top rookie."
