Detroit Red Wings captain Dylan Larkin now has 60 points, his 4th straight year of reaching that mark and the 1st to do so for the Red Wings since Henrik Zetterberg.
Detroit Red Wings captain Dylan Larkin is doing his part to ensure that the club continues to have a fighting shot at their first Stanley Cup Playoffs berth since 2016.
He picked up his 4th goal in his last 7 games tonight against the Washington Capitals at Capital One Arena, giving him a total of 60 points on the year (28G, 32A).
In doing so, he has reached the 60 point plateau for the 4th straight year, the most consecutive 60-point seasons by a Red Wings player since Henrik Zetterberg did so 7 years straight from 2005 to 2012.
Larkin was recently singled out by coach Todd McLellan for a subpar stretch of play in the middle of Detroit's 6-game losing streak earlier in the month, and he's responded with improved performances on the ice.
