The Detroit Red Wings appear to have three trade options in front of them to bolster their lineup this season.

The way the Detroit Red Wings started their season is promising, and it opens doors for the team's executive vice president and general manager, Steve Yzerman.
If the team is able to maintain the rhythm during the whole season, echoes of playoff talks will be heard in Detroit once again.
If that happens, Steve Yzerman will need to consider fast-tracking some trades.
Parting ways with surplus to fill needs in other lineup areas is common among organizations planning for long playoff runs.
According to multiple reports, three trades could go down in Detroit soon.

Reports Confirm Three Trades Could Go Down Soon In Detroit

Although the Wings were able to get where they are with the current lineup, making trades during the season is a great way to keep the momentum going over a full 82-game season.
After Dylan Larkin's comments last season showing frustration over Yzerman's inactivity at the deadline, it's safe to believe he was asked to do more to lead the team in a position to make trades, which he has done so far.
If the team keeps going in the right direction, Yzerman is likely to make deals if it makes the team better.
Yegor Chinakhov, Lian Bichsel, and Alexis Lafrenière are listed as trade options for the Red Wings.
Erik Gustafsson, Justin Holl, and Jonatan Berggren have all been included in plenty of trade rumors, and seeing these three leave the team at any point in the season on the trade market wouldn't be surprising.
Yzerman could be interested in parting ways with the three of them to fill needs in the forward group, either on the bottom or top six.
With the cap space available in Detroit, Yzerman could be tempted to put together a trade package involving players and picks to target a bigger picture player.
