The Detroit Red Wings go into the game on Sunday against the Chicago Blackhawks in Little Caesars Arena, with a mandate: ending the slump, and a lineup change could help.

The Centennial Season of the Detroit Red Wings held promise for the team.
Under Todd McLellan, he's helped turn the team into one of the best in the Atlantic Division. With a record of 9-6-0, they're 3rd.
However, they will need to improve their record with a win today after losing the last three of four games, giving up games to the Vegas Golden Knights and New York Rangers recently.
The team has also been on a scoring slump, with the team needing a way to spark its offense.
Resulting in a lineup change which, we'll see today on the Little Caesars Arena ice.
Keep in mind, these lines are before the addition of Nate Danielson, who was recalled by the Red Wings Sunday morning.
Detroit Projected Lines
Emmitt Finnie - Dylan Larkin - Lucas Raymond

Alex DeBrincat - JT Compher - Patrick Kane

Marco Kasper - Andrew Copp- Mason Appleton

James van Riemsdyk- Michael Rasmussen - Jonatan Berggren

Defense Pairings

Simon Edvinsson - Moritz Seider

Ben Chiarot - Axel Sandin-Pellikka

Albert Johansson-Travis Hamonic

Subs: Defenseman Jacob Bernard-Docker, forward Elmer Soderblom

Goalies

The Detroit Red Wings Need to Pull Off A Win

You can catch the game today at 1:00 P.M. on FanDuel and the NHL Network as former Red Wings head coach Jeff Blashill leads the Chicago Blackhawks to take on the Red Wings on home ice.
This time, with Connor Bedard as his primary offensive catalyst today.
J.T. Compher will center the 2nd-line as his game has heated up, scoring 5 points (2-3) in the last nine games.
While Marco Kasper has shifted to the third line, left wing, playing alongside Andrew Copp and Mason Appleton.
There's hope with Patrick Kane's return; the team can use his offensive prowess to break the dam, as the team is in a scoring drought.
Lucas Raymond gave us an idea earlier of how to solve the team's underlying issues, as they lack goal-scoring and an inability to drive offense.
Will it work?
