Transaction underway in Detroit and the 3 Red Wings have officially been named
An analyst has officially named three prospects who are expected to play for the Detroit Red Wings in the 2025-26 season.
All teams end up making roster transactions in the season due to injuries or other issues within the lineup.
For a rebuilding team on the verge of breaking out like the Detroit Red Wings, it wouldn't be surprising to see some prospects getting a shot in the NHL, if not for the opening night, at some point during the season.
When the Wings get the opportunity, or are forced, to promote some younger players to the NHL, they will be able to rely on a few interesting players.
Three Detroit Red Wings Prospects Likely To Play In The NHL Next Season
Danielson, 20, scored 39 points in 71 games last season with the Grand Rapids Griffins in the AHL.
According to Bultman, Danielson won't be on the lineup for the first game of the regular season unless he has a very impressive training camp.
Mazur is also a great option. He was limited to 20 games last season in the AHL and scored 15 points. He also took part in his first NHL game but was limited to only two shifts and 1:10 of ice time.
Although both players could benefit from some more time in the AHL, they could end up in the NHL if injuries occur.
He had a 21-15-5 record last season with the Griffins, ending the year with a 0.911 SV% and a 2.45 GAA.
The Detroit Red Wings may not have the deepest prospect pool in the league, but with several young players who have already graduated and the quality of their prospects expected to get to the NHL soon, the future of the team is set.
