McLellan Shares Concerning Injury Update On Patrick Kane
Kane brings a lot to the team, and his teammates surely hope to see him come back to the lineup soon.
Although Todd McLellan confirmed that Kane resumed skating, he added that the former Chicago Blackhawks forward isn't ready to return and didn't skate this morning:
The Wings will need to find a way to bounce back from the back-to-back losses against the Buffalo Sabres and New York Islanders without him, but it won't be easy.
Kane brings a lot of offensive depth to the lineup, and the team would greatly benefit from having him back. Since he's been gone, the Wings have scored only eight goals in three games.
Despite missing the last three games, Kane still sits in the fifth spot among Red Wings players for points, with two goals and three assists.
