According to NHL Insider Frank Seravalli, there is movement on Jack Roslovic, but it appears there could be multiple teams, including the Red Wings who are in on the former 22-goal forward are battling with limited cap space, could they find a way to make it work?,

The Detroit Red Wings were one team linked to former 22-goal-scoring forward Jack Roslovic.
The 2015 1st-round pick has found himself at what could be a bidding war between multiple suitors, including the Maple Leafs.
Now it appears we will find out his new team in no time.
But with only $1.9 million in cap space, that could put them out of the running in the Roslovic "sweepstakes".
According to Seravalli's latest statement, it doesn't seem as if the Maple Leafs and Roslovic are a fit, considering they may have to dump salary to acquire him.

Roslovic's Next Contract & Term

The Red Wings have plenty of cap space to fit Jack Roslovic under, with $12.08 million at the moment.
For the Red Wings, having a depth forward like Roslovic in the lineup could be a game-changer, considering how they lacked meaningful secondary-scoring in the lineup in 2024-25.
Last season with Rod Brind'Amour's Carolina Hurricanes, he scored 39 points (22-17) in 81 games.
Roslovic's last cap hit was a $2.8 million, one-year contract in Carolina, but wasn't brought by GM Eric Tulsky inexplicably.
The former Columbus Blue Jacket and New York Rangers forward is looking for term in the NHL, according to recent reports, for a period of three years.
Would you give him a three-year deal?
