Dylan Larkin trade proposal emerges: It would ultimately be a loss for the Detroit Red Wings

Rumors continue to swirl in the midst of a nine-year playoff drought for the Detroit Red Wings, including the topic of a trade involving team captain Dylan Larkin.
In April, Dylan Larkin and general manager Steve Yzerman clashed during their season-exit interviews which sparked speculation on Larkin's future with the Red Wings.
«It was hard that we didn't do anything,» Larkin said. «And then I felt the group kind of-we didn't gain any momentum from the trade deadline, and guys were kind of down about it. It'd be nice to add something and bring a little bit of a spark on the ice, and maybe a morale boost as well.»
Despite this argument between the two, Yzerman confirmed Larkin's departure date, but that doesn't stop hockey fans and outlets from creating trade proposals.
That includes a recently proposed trade from Heavy.com that would ultimately be a loss for the Detroit Red Wings.

If the Red Wings would ever decide to part ways with their beloved captain, a large future asset would need to be heading to Detroit to make it somewhat worthwhile.
And that's about all the proposal offers.

The proposed deal is an obvious score for Minnesota and, ultimately, a disrespectful offer from the POV of the Red Wings.
Marco Rossi, a 23-year-old forward who has only played two full NHL seasons early in his career, is already becoming a red flag for general managers around the NHL.
After an impressive 60-point season with the Wild, the young skater is in a contract dispute with the organization, as it appears that he's holding out for the most amount of money possible.
A headache the Red Wings don't need to say the least.
Despite the ongoing speculation of a Larkin trade, rest assured that the captain isn't going anywhere anytime soon.
