The Detroit Red Wings will be facing one of their biggest challenges of the season due to their top forward, Lucas Raymond, being absent for Wednesday's game against the Florida Panthers.

On Monday, October 13, forward, Lucas Raymond, endured a brutal upper body injury in Detroit's 3-2 win against a divisional rival, the Toronto Maple Leafs.
This injury ultimately erupted when Maple Leafs defenseman, Chris Taney, drove Raymond into the boards, where he would strike the boards with his shoulder first.
While it is uncertain what this talent's status is at this time, it was just confirmed that the Detroit Red Wings will unfortunately undergo their Wednesday, October 15, game against the Florida Panthers at the Little Caesars Arena without their skilled forward.
As the Detroit Red Wings' projected lines do not include this talent.
