Three Detroit Red Wings forwards learn their fate with Team USA following orientation camp announcement
Two members of the Detroit Red Wings organization were invited to Team USA's Orientation Camp ahead of the 2026 Olympic Games.
Following a tough and emotional loss in the 4-Nations Face-Off against Team Canada, Team USA will be back on the ice for the Olympic Games with only one goal in mind: winning a gold medal.
Inviting several players to such an event is crucial to assess the depth in case of injuries before or during the tournament.
On the 44-player roster invited to the camp, two of them are members of the Detroit Red Wings.

Patrick Kane's achievements with Team USA are impressive, but the Olympic gold medal eludes him.
The captain of the 2019 Olympic team only won a gold for Team USA in 2006, at the U-18 WC. He did win a silver and two bronze medals since then, but still, no gold.
The 35-year-old veteran scored 59 points last season with the Red Wings.
Seeing him invited isn't surprising, but unless he has an amazing start to the season, it would be surprising to see him included in the final lineup,
like it happened at the 4-Nations.As for Larkin, he scored 70 points last season, including 30 goals, which is less than DeBrincat. But Larkin stands out because of his style, size, and skills.
Do you think Team USA made the right decisions?
