A recent report has confirmed the official signing of Red Wings 2025 draft pick Grayden Robertson-Palmer, a 5'11", 196-pound center who's expected to make a run for the organization's roster once his development is furthered.
According to New England scout Robert Chalmers of Elite Prospects, Grayden Robertson-Palmer, who has committed to Dartmouth College, has decided to put pen to paper with the Moncton Wildcats.
"The Wildcats are happy to sign 2025 QMHJL draft pick (Rd 6, #97), & St. Andrews native, Grayden Roberston-Palmer.
Grayden was also a 2025 NHL draft pick of the Detroit Red Wings (Rd 7, #204) and captain of Phillips Andover Prep that won a NE Championship in 2024-25."
Guimond has been one of the most talked about goaltending prospects in the NHL throughout the past several months after his record-breaking season in Moncton, which included a 16-0-0 regular season record with a SV% (save percentage) of .940%.
His regular season performance wasn't just a fluke; he carried his play into the playoffs and won the Memorial Cup with an 8-1 record.
From between the pipes to up front, the future is bright in Detroit!
