Detroit Red Wings' veteran forward, Patrick Kane, has unveiled a career goal on his bucket list that he hopes to accomplish before retiring from professional hockey but surprisingly enough, it doesn't involve the Red Wings.

Veteran star, Patrick Kane has become a massively respected forward within not only Detroit Red Wings organization, but within the National Hockey League for plenty of years now.
With impeccable gameplay and talent, it is hard not to understand the appeal.
Not only has this legend accumulated several prestigious individual awards over his career, including the Calder Memorial, Art Ross, Conn Smythe, Hart Memorial, and Ted Lindsay Award Trophies, he has also won three Stanley Cup Champions within his professional career thus far.
Even within the international scene, Kane has won plenty of medals with Team USA, yet, within eight years of representing his home country, this skilled vet has still yet to receive the most important honor.

Detroit Red Wings Patrick Kane unveils there is still one last thing on his bucket list

In 2006, Patrick Kane won gold with the U-18 team, in 2007, he won at the WJC, in 2018, he won bronze that the WC, and in 2010, a silver that the Olympic Games in Vancouver.
Despite all of these incredible awards, Patrick Kane has yet to win a gold medal at the Olympics, and he has just revealed he wants to capitalize on what might just be his last opportunity of his career to do so.
Prior to Team USA's Orientation Camp, an interview held place for the 2026 Olympic Games, where Kane broke his silence about his intentions to win a gold medal at all costs.
Take a look:
"The one thing that's kind of missing is a gold in best-on-best, right? It would be fun to have that opportunity."

"Yeah, that's all it is, is gold, and trying to get over the hump of Canada. They've won the last two Olympics in best-on-best and the last two World Cups in best-on-best. Yeah, that's what it's all about, to win the gold."
With that being said, it is undoubtedly crucial for Kane to pursuit this dream and take the gold home for USA.
