Detroit Red Wings' Patrick Kane is stealing the spotlight in the hockey world as of late, after unleashing an impressive five-point game, fans claim he is echoing his glory days with the Chicago Blackhawks, but is his health 100%?

This Detroit Red Wings forward went under surgery for hip resurfacing just a couple years ago, (June 1, 2023) and now has fans and analysts buzzing: is «Showtime» back to his full strength?
After Kane's insane performance within a single night, he lit up the scoresheet with two goals and three assists, and his help was nothing less than a miracle, as the Detroit Red Wings snapped their six-game losing streak by demolishing the Buffalo Sabres 7-3.
Just inches away from the Eastern Conference Wildcard spot, the Red Wings desperately needed a spark, and needless to say, that spark was the one and only, Patrick Kane.
Following Kane achieving a deal with Detroit this past summer the 36-year old has been a huge benefiting factor in an otherwise stressful season for the organization.
Despite this star powerfully shining, his recent surgery does strike concerning to many, how likely could his body fully recover after such a major procedure?
Patrick Kane revealed in his own words with the NHL on TNT's Henri Lundqvist that his healing journey should not strike any concern.
«I'm very close to 100%; the body feels real good; but i still didn't feel like my hip was my own. And now I feel like it's apart of me, like it belongs to me. I feel really good, a lot better, nd can focus on just playing hockey now.»

This is very shocking, as Kane's 36-years of age, and still shows no signs of wear and tear.

Showtime is back

Needless to say with 31-points acquired in Kane's last 25 games, it's quite evident that his statement is accurate.
This just proves that he still has that elite edge.
As there'd Wings gear up for the final sprint of the regular season, we are all hoping his hip holds strong for the playoff push and are riding the «Showtime» wave.
