Reinforcements incoming to the Detroit Red Wings via trade: These players are expected to be sacrificed

With trade rumors being at an all-time high, the Detroit Red Wings are speculated to make some big moves.
It is evident that at this time, the Detroit Red Wings are in a position to make some trades, as a major part of their current success comes from their rookies being injected into the roster.
With their rookies proving extreme promise, it seems as though some of their former players won't be needed anymore.
That being said, multiple recent reports have discussed the Red Wings' current roster situation and reveal this organization is most likely going to depart with some familiar faces.

NHL insiders David Pagnotta and Elliotte Friedman have both touched on the topic.
Take a look:
"There is some talk that the Wings are looking at and are open to moving some of their defencemen, and I think there's mutual interest there from the player side of things.
Those are a couple of veteran pieces it doesn't look like there's much room for some of these guys. I think they've started to explore that possibility of moving them or at least letting everybody know that there's some availability there.
They've got a bunch of different pieces that they're willing to explore. But because of the plethora of guys on that backend, don't be surprised to hear guys like Hamonic and Gustafsson's names out there, especially in the next little bit."

The returns wouldn't be extremely major if these trades do erupt in Detroit, but they could undoubtedly help down the line in acquiring better players that could fit this Original Six franchise's lineup.
