Red Wings forward left heartbroken after Lucas Raymond's Swedes defeat his Austrians in nail-biting win

Detroit Red Wings center Marco Kasper nearly led Austria to a historic upset at the. IIHF World Championships when his goal with seven minutes remaining gave Austria a 2-1 edge over fellow Red Wings teammates on Sweden, a team they hadn't earned a point against in 78 years.
However, Sweden earned a dramatic comeback, scoring three goals in the final two minutes to secure a 4-2 win.
«It's very frustrating,» Kasper told Aftonbladet.
The loss left Austria 0-2 in the tournament, following a 2-1 loss to Finland on Friday. Despite the results, the young Detroit Red Wings forward Kasper remained proud:
«We play tough and tactically. It's hard for Sweden and Finland to beat us.»
Kasper scored a goal at the most crucial point in the game, with just under 10 minutes remaining in the third period, to give Austria the 2-1 lead.

Erik Gustafsson, who each recorded an assist.
Raymond was named player of the game and praised Austria's effort:
«They played with passion and kept it tight defensively. Our third-period comeback gives us momentum.»
